When millioniare and known jerk Kovic dies of a so-called accident, instead of sending for family at the reading of his will
he calls for his known enemes and the will reads that hs whole fortune will be given to the person who can find out which
among them murdered him.
But what kind of horror movie if that was the only thing happening. What they don't know that Kovic built an andoid that
looks just like him after the accident in order to kill everone of his enimes, in other words he has no intendtions of giving
his money to any of them, even in death Kovic's a jerk.
Now the question raises who killed Kovic and how can they stop this zombie robot, this Zombot? And can any of escape
I did like this one, the make up effects on the Zombot of Kovic is really, really cool. But I did have some problems. In
mysteries they have flashbacks of the victim when he was alive, why no flash backs.. Plus is was kinda dull and long winded
in places. But still a worth while romp from 1966.
I GIVE IT (6 STARS)
ON THE POSTIVE SIDE (+ HITS)
+ PREMISE (The idea of inviting your enemies over to kill them is a good premise for a horror movie)
+ ZOMBOT (The idea of making a android that looks like you after you died is genius)
+ CAST (Virginia Mayo in a rare horror movie, it's worth renting just for her)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES)
- SLOW (The movie took a while to really get started)
- NO FLASHBACKS (I would liked to seen this Kovic alive when they talked about the terrible things he did in flashack
