A cursed television is delievered to the home of the Blair family by mistake. They except not knowing the terrible secret
this TV has. For inside is a group of zombies from a b-horror movie that hate the living, they remove themselves from the
TV and start creating havoc along the block.
Can these undead monsters be stopped or is everyone in the naughborhood doomed to death by television? I heard that television
rots the mind but the whole body?
There is some incredible amount of cool make up effects in this movie, the Zombies are incredible. But there is kind of a
lack of backstory.
This guy shows up and says it was his television and he was going to put it someplace safe (ala Friday the 13th the series).
But he never explained how monsters from a movie can climb out and kill you.
After all that's not a normal feature you find at the televisions they sell at Sears or JC Penny's. Also the ending without
giving anything away was disappointing.
I GIVE IT (5 STARS)
I agree with every that Zedd said, except the complete lack of that backstory really ruined the whole experience for me.
Plus the whole anti-Television message is just wrong, considering this loser was made for Video. How are going to watch except
on TV? I'm sorry but this movie is just bad and I can't recomend it to anyone.
I GIVE IT (THE NOOSE)
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS)
+ ZOMBIES (A large verity of zombies and they're clever manerisiums is quite enjoyable)
+ EFFECTS (There is some really cool make up effects and some stomach turning ones as well)
+ CLEVER (The monsters came out of the TV was clever)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES)
- NO BACKSTORY (How does a TV puke Zombies?)
- EDNING (Without giving it away, disappointing)
- ANTI-TV (The story says that TV will kill you)
- DESTROY THE TV (Since the Zombies were connected to the TV, maybe the key to destroying them is to destroy the TV, duh!)
